Task

Design a new trade mark for Georgian wine
Wine-making in Georgia began to develop actively 8,000 years ago, nowadays, it is an integral part of the country’s history.
Creating a new brand, we decided not to tell the history of the wine, but to use wine to tell the story.
The most famous and esteemed figure in Georgia is and was Queen Tamara.
The Golden Age of Georgian history is connected with her name; poems were dedicated to her, songs were composed about her beauty and wisdom. The most famous ode is called Tamariani. It was she who became the name of the brand — a multivolume wine epic of the iconic varieties of Georgian wine.
Naming
One of the important advantages of the name is its intelligibility and versatility. It doesn’t cause reading difficulties for the Russian audience, but it clearly indicates the Georgian background of the brand.
The label is made in the style of a book illustration.
Such a move continues the vector set by the name. These or those plots and lines from the great epos glorifying the beautiful queen appear on different types of brand products.

By "reading" any of them, you will be absorbed in the versatile culture of Georgia, acquaintance with which is impossible without wine. The reference to the print technique on the label allows emphasizing the centuries-old history of the country’s winemaking and the great cultural background of the brand.
Typographic style of the brand
The fonts used have a spelling similar to traditional Georgian writing. It enables focusing more on the authenticity of the brand.
