Calendar-Lamp

Over the past few years, public attention has been focused on environmental issues and environmental protection. Therefore, 2015 was officially declared by the UN General Assembly as the International Year of Light and Lighting Technologies. The Tariff Committee of St. Petersburg, under its professional activities, decided to support the trend towards saving electricity along with the whole world. Our task was to come up with not an ordinary calendar, but energy-saving. It should provide not only its primary function but also be a daily call to protect our planet.

One bright idea can throw light on the issue of energy-saving. So it lit up with us like a light bulb, or rather, like a whole lamp. We came up with an energy-saving calendar that gives light all the year, without spending a kilowatt of energy. A ray of light coming from it melts every day, reminding of importance to save energy. Do not waste it, use it rationally — just like your time.

We made up a unique art object with a serious ideological foundation. Our calendar lamp is equipped with a real lampshade. A ray of light coming from it is a whole month, divided into days. Tear off a strip-day — and the ray becomes shorter. In such a way, we remind you that the future of the planet is in our hands, and we need to treat each bright strip carefully.
