Concept
Lewis Carroll’s Alice books were way ahead of their times. They are filled to the brim with narratives, visual aesthetics and metaphors that have remained remarkably relevant to these day. Each image inspired by the original story is a wholesome brand character that feels absolutely real. We applied a branding and design perspective to the story many have known since childhood and translated its core values into characters, metamorphoses, high-contrast patterns and optical illusions. Celebrating the mesmerizing aesthetics of the absurd and praising nonsense by reinventing the graphic narratives was the ultimate answer of the gifts brand to the in-depth insight: the search for freedom of self-expression.

The collection brings together the communication agency’s approach and a unique artistic perspective. As the result, we created an array of coherent characters that that exist on the borderline between reality and a dream. We wanted every item to brim with associations that create that very special mood. After all, that’s one sure way to make the holiday all the more curioser!
